Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on Abbott Street near Rooney Bridge. Both inbound and southbound lanes are closed. Traffic is diverted through Oonoonba and Railway Estate. Police and emergency crews are on site. Please have patience and obey all traffic control when approaching the area.

Intersection of Ingham Road and Hugh Street will be having maintenance works occuring tonight 16th August 2011 between 7.00pm and 11.30pm. The intersection will be under police control for the duration of the works. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution when entering the intersection.

Charters Towers Rd from Bayswater Tce to Bowen Rd will be having Electrical network cable removed from the 5 December 2010 to 19 December 2010 between 7:00am and 5:30pm. Speed restrictions, safe pedestrian access past work site will be in place for the duration of the works. The east and westbound lanes will be affected with traffic control on site.

Montgomery Street will have road reconstruction works all the way until the Hugh Street intersection on 31 August to 21 September 2011 between 6:00am and 5:00pm. Temporary detours and a road closure will be in place during the works along with Signage and speed reduction in place.
