Due to flooding a traffic contra flow is in place for southbound traffic on the Bruce Highway north of King John Creek Caboolture. Southbound traffic is being directed onto the northbound lanes. There is now one lane of traffic each direction in the northbound lanes of the Highway between Bribie Island Road and Pumicestone Rd. Expect long delays in both directions. Last review 9.30am

Bribie Island Road is closed at Caboolture between Old Toorbul Point Road and Hickey Rd.

There is heavy congestion northbound on the Bruce Highway from Caboolture through to Beerburrum. Please use caution and expect medium delays.

Bribie Island Road, Caboolture - Congestion: Eastbound - Both lanes affected. Medium delays expected. Due to an event. There will be increased traffic on Bribie Island road and Pumicestone Road on Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th of June. Police and Traffic control will be position on Bribie Island road and Pumicestone road. Please use caution.

Due to an earlier incident at Elimbah heavy congestion exists in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway from Caboolture through to Elimbah. Delays are being experienced motorists are advised to proceed with caution in this area.

Due to the large amount of holiday traffic heading north to the Sunshine Coast on the Bruce Highway there is congestion from the Gateway Motorway to Bribie Island Interchange. Delays are being expreienced.
