All vehicles are given access to Blackbutt Range via a sidetrack. The sidetrack constructed around a severe landslip on the D'Aguilar Highway at Blackbutt Range is open to all vehicles, including B-double trucks. A three-metre width restriction will be in place to ensure safety and minimise the risk of further damage to the road. The Department of Transport and Main Roads would like to thank roads users for their patience during the construction of the sidetrack and during the progressive opening of the sidetrack to all vehicles. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct one lane of traffic along the sidetrack at a time.
