Due to an earlier crash in Goondiwindi, the Barwon Highway, 500 meters West of Town Common Road has been reduced to one lane and is under traffic control.
This will remain in place for the next 3 hours.
Please use caution when travelling through the area.

The Newell Highway has reopened between Moree and Boggabilla (Queensland border) after being closed due to flooding.
The following roads remain closed because of flooding:
The Kamilaroi Highway five kilometres west of Walgett. There is no access between Walgett and Brewarrina on local roads either.
The Carnarvon Highway between Garah and Mungindi.
The Carnarvon Highway is open between Moree and Garah.

The Newell Highway is closed in both directions between Moree and Boggabilla (Queensland border) due to flooding.
Motorists are advised to use an alternative route and exercise caution in the area.
The following roads also remain closed due to flooding:
Kamilaroi Highway in both directions five kilometres west of Walgett . There is also no access between Walgett and Brewarrina on local roads.
Carnavon Highway between Garah and Mungindi.

Barwon Highway between Goondiwindi and Talwood. This road is closed to all vehicles / loads over 2.5m and all vehicles operating under excess mass and dimension guidelines due to wet weather. This restriction will be reviewed Friday the 12th March 2010 by 11am.

There is a serious traffic incident at the intersection of Boundary Rd & Cunningham Hwy Goondiwindi. Local diversions in place, expect delays.
