There is a 2 vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway, Monkland, near the intersection of Inglewood street. Delays are being experienced in the area.

There is heavy traffic congestion on the Bruce Highway, in both directions, between Traveston and Gympie. This is due to an earlier traffic crash.

The Normanby Bridge section of the Gympie-Brooloo Road is closed to all traffic. On 8/10/09, 9/10/09, 12/10/09 and 13/10/09 traffic control will be in place to allow for temporary widening on the southbound on-ramp. From 14/10/09 a detour will be in place where all Bruce Highway traffic will be diverted via the on and off-ramps. this is to allow for the demolition and reconstruction of the Normanby Bridge. Expected completion is mid-December 2009.

There is dust storm approaching the Gympie area. Visibility is decreasing rapidly. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and to turn on headlights in areas with reduced visibility.

There has been a crash on the Bruce Highway in Gympie near the intersection with Cross Street causing the power lines to fall. Police and traffic controllers are in attendance with delays experienced on the Bruce Highway

There is 3 x vehicle crash at the Intersection of Bruce Highway and Hall road, Gympie. Both northbound lanes are blocked. Southbound lanes remain open but traffic is slow.

The Bruce Highway, both north and southbound lanes are closed at the Normanby Bridge, Gympie. All traffic will be diverted using the Mary River Road on/off ramps. Proceed with caution through this area
