Road safety works are scheduled to be carried out at the intersections of Waterworks Road and Pine Mountain Road and Hill Street and Pine Mountain Road, Brassall on Sunday 9 May 2010. The works will be carried out between 7:30am to 6pm and will take on day to complete, weather permitting. Standard vehicle motorists travelling west will be diverted via Mt Crosby Road, Tantivy Street, Pine Mountain Road, Ipswich-Warrego Hwy Connection Road then back onto Warrego Highway. Heavy Vehicles including B-Doubles are advised to detour via Warwick. Eastbound lanes are open.
Motorists will experience long delays in the area.

Standard vehicle motorists travelling west will be diverted via Mt Crosby Road, Tantivy Street, Pine Mountain Road, Ipswich-Warrego Hwy Connection Road then back onto Warrego Highway. Heavy Vehicles including B-Doubles are advised to detour via Warwick. Closures and delays are expected to 1:00pm. Motorists will experience long delays in the area.
