There is a multiple vehicle crash at the intersection of Ingham Road and Hugh Street. Due to this the traffic signals may be affected. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and expect short delays.

Boundary Street at Victoria Park near Bells St. is presently clear but is expected to have water ponding over the road with the rising King tides peaking at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Reduce speed and exercise caution through this area. Updated 16:00 16/03/11

Motorists are advised that Third Avenue will be closed to all vehicles at the intersection of Queens Road for the V8 Supercars event. The road closure will take effect at midnight on Saturday 3 July 2010 and will continue until 6pm on Monday 12 July 2010.

Motorists are advised that the Railway Avenue Service Road will be closed to all vehicles from Queens Road to Flowers Street for the V8 Supercars event. The road closure will take effect at midnight on Saturday 3 July 2010 and will continue until 6pm on Monday 12 July 2010.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on the Intersection of Woolcock St & Kings Road. Emergency crews are on site. 2 Northbound lanes are blocked. Please use alternate route if possible and exercise extreme caution when approaching the area.

Motorists are advised that maintenance works will be occurring that require the signals to be switched off at the intersection of Charters Towers Road and Fraire Street / Townsend Street. This will be taking place on Thursday 3 June 2010 and Friday 4 June 2010 between the hours of 8:00pm - 4:00am. Police and traffic control will be onsite during these times, and some delays are expected.

As at 12:30pm on the 1st of June, 2010 motorists are advised of an update on the multiple vehicle incident at the intersection of Boundary St and Railway Ave. Boundary Street is closed off to one lane between Charters Towers Road and Railway Avenue. Motorists are advised to take an alternative route as delays are expected due to the closure. There is currently no estimated re-opening time available.

Motorists are advised of a single vehicle incident on Ackers Street, between Marks Street and Campbell Street. As a result of this incident traffic signals at the following intersections are off due to a loss of power;
-Charters Towers Road, Bayswater Road and Ackers Street
-Charters Towers Road and Philp Street
-Charters Towers Road, Woolcock Street and Boundary Street
-Woolcock Street and Sturt Street
Crews are working to restore power and motorists are urged to remain patient and drive with caution in the area.

Motorists are advised of works for the installation of signage on the footpath of Charters Towers Road at the Purves Street intersection. Works are currently in progress and will continue until the 25/03/2010. Works will take place between 9:30am and 2:30pm. A speed reduction to 40km/hr will be in place throughout the works.
