Motorists are advised to drive with caution approaching the intersection of Abbott St and the Bruce Highway. A stationery heavy vehicle is blocking the right hand turning lane from Abbott St to the Bruce Highway. Police are on route to investigate.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on University Drive, near Mark Reid Drive outside the Lavarack Barracks. The incident occurred at approximately 8am, and is creating some traffic congestion on University Drive, from the Lavarack Barracks to Yolanda Drive. Delays are to be expected.

Motorists are advised that works to repair a water leak in the carpark of the Stuart Shops will commence on Stuart Drive between Roe St & Lowe St between 9am and 3pm on 6 September 2010. A reduction of speed will be in place and safe Pedestrian access will be established.

Motorists are advised that minor construction works will be occurring on Abbott Street, between Oonoonba Road and Racecourse Road, on Friday 23 April 2010. Works will take place from 9.00am to 12.00pm, with the inbound lane partially blocked. Traffic controllers, speed restrictions, and signage will be on site, with intermittent stoppage expected when travelling through the works area.
