Minor Delays can be expected on the Captain Cook hwy, approx. 1.5km north of the Turtle Cove resort, due to a Landslip. The road has been reduced to one lane with traffic control and or temporary traffic signals in place.

There is a single vehicle crash on the Captain Cook Hwy approximately 5kms south of the Mowbray River near Yule Point. The vehicle is off the road however motorists can expect delays with emergency crews on site.

There is a single vehicle crash on the Captain Cook Hwy at Pebbly Beach (north of Oak Beach), approx 7.5kms south of Port Douglas. Minor delays can be expected motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care in the wet conditions.

On the Captain Cook Hwy past Thala Beach Resort, there is fallen tree blocking one lane. Maintenance crews are en route. Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care for their safety and the safety of other motorists.
