Kennedy Highway, Mount Garnet - Hazard: Fault - other Both Directions - Power Lines are low through Mount Garnet due to earlier storm.
No blockage. Unknown traffic impact. Changed traffic conditions.
Road is closed to heavy vehicles and open for cars driving through Mount Garnet

Pavement re-sealing works commence early April on the Kennedy Hwy between Mt.Garnet & The Lynd. Lane closures & speed restictions will be in place with expected completion early September 2012.

There are reports of a crash on the Kennedy Development Rd near the turnoff to Utan Rd. Motorists are advised to drive with care if travelling through that area.

Due to the Mt Garnet Rodeo held between 27 April & 2 May 2011, the speed limit on the Kennedy Hwy between Gunnamurra Rd and Mt Lucy Park will be reduced to 60km/h.

As at 10:00am Sunday 6 February 2011, a load limit of 44 tonne gross has been placed on the Kennedy Highway from Mt Garnet to The Three Ways. This section of the road is closed to multi-combination vehicles & road trains but open to other legally loaded vehicles up to 44 tonne gross vehicle mass. (Last Updated Tuesday 8 February 2011)
