Broadsound Road, Ooralea - Crash: Multi-vehicle Southbound - 75 Broadsound Road, Paget, near Boundary Road intersection.
One lane closed. Medium delays expected. Proceed with caution.
Road is reduced to a single-lane travelling southbound

Nebo Road, Mackay - Hazard: Signal fault Both Directions - At City Gates.
Short delays expected. Proceed with caution.
Please be advised that Queensland Rail are currently experiencing issues with their traffic signals at various locations around Mackay.
This includes the intersection of Bruce Highway and Peak Downs Highway. The traffic signals are currently working at this intersection however motorists will need to proceed through the red signal for the railway line to proceed through this intersection.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution around rail line signals until the issue can be rectified.

All lanes affected. No delays expected. Traffic control on scene.

Landsdowne Road, West Mackay - Hazard: Water over road All directions - Road closed due to flooding.
Road closed both directions. Medium delays expected. Use alternative route.
Lansdowne Road is currently closed to all vehicles due to water over the road.

Peak Downs Highway, Te Kowai - Crash: Multi-vehicle Both Directions - At the intersection with Hansens Road.

Peak Downs Highway, Te Kowai - Crash: Multi-vehicle Both Directions - Road closed both directions. Long delays expected. Diversions are in place.
Please be advised that the Peak Downs Highway is currently closed in both directions at Te Kowai, just west of Mackay due to an accident.
Emergency Services are on site and currently diverting traffic along Calrossie Road, Stockroute Road and Hansens Road.
Motorists are advised to be patient and delay travel if possible.

Bruce Highway south of Mackay is closed to all vehicles due to an accident. Traffic is currently being diverted along Stockroute Road and Cowleys Road.

There is a an accident on the Peak Downs Highway between Hansens Road and Walkerston (near Racecourse Mill). Traffic is being diverted on Hansens Road and Stockroute Road. Motorists can expect delays and are advised to seek an alternative route. (updated as at 9.30am)

The traffic signals at the intersection of Nebo Road and Bridge Road are currently not operating due to a truck colliding with one of the signal posts. Police are directing traffic until the signals are operational again sometime later today. Motorists are asked to heed directions from Police and drive with care.
