Traffic Incidents related to Landsborough Highway, Longreach, QLD

A load width restriction of a maximum of 3.50 metres applies to the Landsborough Highway and Capricorn Highway and all other declared roads in Main Roads Central West Region.
This Region comprises the local authorities of Barcaldine, Barcoo, Blackall-Tambo, Boulia, Diamantina, Longreach and Winton.
This restriction is due to widespread rain resulting in wet and soft shoulders which are unable to carry traffic without causing substantial damage to the shoulders.
Restriction to be reviewed by Monday 11th January 2010 at 12 noon.
