Information
The Department of Transport and Main Road (TMR) would like to advise of upcoming safety improvements at the Pumicestone Road Interchange on the Bruce Highway at Elimbah.

TMR will soon be realigning the interchange’s northbound off-ramp intersection with Pumicestone Road. This work will help improve sight distance for vehicles positioned at the give-way line to make the right-turn movement onto Pumicestone Road. This work is scheduled to commence in early May 2017 and take approximately four weeks to complete, weather permitting. Construction will generally be carried out at night between Sunday and Thursday, from 7pm to 5am. At times, occasional day work may also be required. Changed traffic conditions including reduced speed limits, traffic control and construction signage may be in place while works are carried out. Motorists may experience minor delays.
