Resurface 2 kilometres of the Bruce Highway southbound between King John Creek and the Bribie Island Rd Interchange, Caboolture. The work is scheduled to commence from 13 August 2017 and take approximately two weeks to complete, weather permitting. Works will involve the removal of the existing road surface, isolated pavement repairs and resurfacing of the road, as well as linemarking.
The works will be undertaken at night between 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday, to avoid high volumes of traffic during the day. During the works, the Bribie Island Road off ramp will be closed for one night, anticipated for 23 August, to allow for the resurfacing. During this closure, motorists will be detoured via the Buchanan Road Interchange, with signage and traffic controllers in place to assist motorists. Advance signage will be installed to ensure motorists have adequate notice prior to this closure. Motorists may experience delays during these works. Lane closures, traffic controllers & signage.
