Bruce Highway at Seymour River and Arnot Ck. Water rising and clsoure of bridges later this evening. Barricades and police closure being set-up at Jones Road at southern base of Cardwell Range. Local traffic only with all southbound traffic being held at Port Hinchinbrook in Cardwell. Updated 16:00 28/02/11

Bruce Highway at Seymour River and Arnot Ck. is now opened to heavy vehicles only with water 250mm over the road. Water extends over 300-400m along the road length. The area will operate as one lane traffic under police control. Updated 14:00 01/03/11
