The Captain Cook Hwy is CLOSED between Holloways Beach and Yorkeys Knob roundabouts due to flooding at Thomatis Creek. Inbound traffic is being diverted via Cairns Western Arterial Rd. Motorists are advised of lengthy delays.

The Captain Cook Hwy is CLOSED to traffic due to flooding at Thomatis Creek. Barricades are in place at Arnold St (northbound traffic) and Caravonica Roundabout (southbound traffic). Inbound traffic is being diverted down the Cairns Western Arterial Road (via Redlynch). Major delays are being experienced.
