Due to Flooding at Tomatis Cr on the Captain Cook Hwy, there is HEAVY CONGESTION on the Captain Cook Hwy at the Smithfield and Caravonica roundabouts and also the Cairns Western Arterial road heading inbound. Major delays can be expected.

The Captain Cook Hwy is CLOSED between Holloways Beach and Yorkeys Knob roundabouts due to flooding at Thomatis Creek. Inbound traffic is being diverted via Cairns Western Arterial Rd. Motorists are advised of lengthy delays.
