Roadworks - Planned roadworks
• The majority of works will generally be undertaken at night between 6pm and 5am, Monday to Thursday. Occasional night works may also be required on Sunday, between 6pm and 5am.
• Some limited day works may be required between 6am and 6pm, Monday to Thursday.
• There will be a three-week shutdown for the holiday period from late December 2021.
• Temporary single lane closures, reduced speed limits, construction signage and traffic control measures will be in place for the safety of roadworkers and motorists.
• The right-turns into and out of Folkstone Avenue will be closed from the start of construction, requiring road users to use alternative routes.
• Variable messaging signage will be in place at the approaches to the work site.
• Emergency vehicles will be given priority access through the work site.
