Roadworks - Planned roadworks
• traffic controllers, automated traffic signals, reduced speed limits, road signage and variable message signs will be in place to advise of the changed traffic conditions and to ensure motorist and roadworker safety
• there will be higher truck movements in the area due to asphalt and earthworks
• motorists can expect delays when single lane closures and traffic management are implemented in the work zone
• majority of works will be undertaken during the day from Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm
• construction is expected to be complete mid-2024, weather and construction conditions permitting. Construction will pause over key holiday periods including the Christmas/New Year period from mid-December 2023 and during Easter 2024.
