Roadworks - Planned roadworks
Repair to bridge: Works will require closure of the bridge to traffic travelling westbound (traffic heading towards Bli-Bli) at all times for the duration of construction.
- Full night-time closure of the bridge may be expected for certain construction activities.
- The speed limit will be reduced to 40k/hr over the bridge during works.
- An alternate route will be in place via the Sunshine Motorway, Bradman Avenue and David Low Way.
- Provisions will be made for morning and afternoon CDC school buses to continue as usual.
- Turnaround facilities at Muller Park Road will be provided.
- Works are scheduled to begin early October 2023 and are expected to take around eight weeks to complete, weather and construction conditions permitting.
