A cattle truck has overturned on the Fitzroy Developmental Road at the Middlemount turn-off. This is creating a hazard for motorists in the area as there is some livestock on the road. Motorists are asked to take care and delay travel if able. (Updated as at 11.30am)

Fitzroy Developmental Road (Beef Road) is open with caution 10km north of the Middlemount turn-off. Motorists should proceed with care as water levels can rise quickly at this location. (Update 8/2 at 9.45am)

May Downs Road remains closed to all vehicles due to water over Isaac River Bridge. The road is expected to remain closed for some time.(Updated 8/2 at 9.45am)
