Please be advised, DownerMouchel intends on conducting a gaurdrail upgrade on the Downhill Gravel Section of Obi Obi Rd (weather permitting) starting Monday 16th October 2017. Works will be completed by Tuesday 17th October 2017. This work at Ch 5.76 will effect traffic between CH 4.410 and CH 6.210.
As usual, these works will require a full closure of the downhill section, with traffic being managed under a stop/slow arrangement on the George Wyer Scenic Drive section.
All reasonable efforts will be taken to restrict/advise general public vehicles that are >10t not to travel on this road during this period. Construction traffic will not be permitted to travel on this section at an time.
A site specific TGS will be held onsite by the Traffic Control Team Leader for these works.
