Star River Bridge 93 km west of Townsville on Herveys Range Road is closed with water 1.0m over the bridge and falling. River is expected to drop by this evening and bridge may open tonight or early Wednesday morning. Updated 10:30 08/03/11

Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions due to an overturned vehicle on Hervey Range Road at the Black River Road intersection. Police are on site directing traffic with lanes in all directions currently closed. Motorists will be required to detour as the vehicle is removed, with the estimated time of completion currently unknown. Large delays may be expected.
