The Bruce Highway is closed at the Etna Creek Caves region (approximately 20kilometres North of Rockhampton) due to a fire and thick smoke. No diversions in place.

There is a serious crash on the Bruce Highway approximately 15km north of Rockhampton at The Caves. The Bruce Highway is closed to all vehicles and is expected to remain closed for most of the day. Local detours are in place.
