Traffic Incidents related to University Road, Annandale, QLD

Motorists are advised that the traffic lights at the intersection of Ross River Road, Cross St and Balls lane as well as Ross River Road, Bowen Road and Charters Towers Road are currently off due to an Ergon Energy Power failure. Police are currently on site direction traffic. The lights will resume normal operation once power has been restored.

Motorists are advised that due to Roadworks there will be no left turn into Mango Avenue from Ross River Road and Mango Avenue itself will be closed between the hours of 9.00am and 1.00pm today the 25 February, 2010. Detours, speed reductions and traffic control will be in place during the works.

Motorists are advised of an oil spill on Ross River Road between Gulliver Street and Charlotte Street. Police and Emergency Services are onsite and clean up is in progress. Police and Traffic Control are directing motorists through the incident as the traffic signals at Gulliver, Thompson & Charlotte Street are on amber flash. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect major delays.

Motorists are advised that the traffic lights on Ross River Road and Acheron Aveune are currently off due to urgent repairs taking place. Police are onsite directing traffic. It is estimated that signal operation will return to normal at approximately 12:00pm today. Please use caution if travelling in that direction.

Motorists are advised of a 2 vehicle traffic incident at the intersection of Bowen Road and Hodel Street. The South bound lane is currently blocked but Police are onsite directing traffic around the area. Please be advised to expect delays if travelling in that direction and to find an alternative route where possible.

Entrance to Douglas Section of Ring Road (Where Uni Dr ends) - Broken down Semi Trailer, pulled over to side, but still partially in lane. Traffic is getting through, however QPS are onsite.

Motorists are advised of a traffic incident on University Drive, at the Melton Black Drive intersection outside Lavarack Barracks. The incident occured at approximately 3.15pm on Wednesday 14 July 2010. Emergency vehicles are on site and motorists are urged to exercise caution when travelling in the area.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident at the University Drive and Melton Black Drive Intersection. Traffic is reduces to single lane with Police & Emergancy crews on site. Please drive with caution when in the area.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on University Drive, near Mark Reid Drive outside the Lavarack Barracks. The incident occurred at approximately 8am, and is creating some traffic congestion on University Drive, from the Lavarack Barracks to Yolanda Drive. Delays are to be expected.
