Traffic Incidents related to Mango Avenue, Mundingburra, QLD

Motorists are advised that the traffic lights at the intersection of Ross River Road, Cross St and Balls lane as well as Ross River Road, Bowen Road and Charters Towers Road are currently off due to an Ergon Energy Power failure. Police are currently on site direction traffic. The lights will resume normal operation once power has been restored.

Motorists are advised that the traffic signals at the intersection of Charters Towers Road, Boundary Street and Woolcock Street are currently flashing amber. Maintenance crews are on site, and delays are expected when travelling in the area.

Motorists are advised of an oil spill on Ross River Road between Gulliver Street and Charlotte Street. Police and Emergency Services are onsite and clean up is in progress. Police and Traffic Control are directing motorists through the incident as the traffic signals at Gulliver, Thompson & Charlotte Street are on amber flash. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect major delays.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on Nathan Street at the Alfred Street intersection. Police and emergency services are on site, with some outbound lanes currently blocked. Delays are expected and motorists are urged, where possible, to avoid the area.

Motorists are advised of heavy congestion on University Drive outbound from the Yolanda Drive Roundabout to Annandale Drive, and extending back onto the Ring Road exit Ramp. Please take an alternative route where possible.

Motorists are advised of works for the installation of signage on the footpath of Charters Towers Road at the Purves Street intersection. Works are currently in progress and will continue until the 25/03/2010. Works will take place between 9:30am and 2:30pm. A speed reduction to 40km/hr will be in place throughout the works.

Motorists are advised of a 2 vehicle traffic incident at the intersection of Bowen Road and Hodel Street. The South bound lane is currently blocked but Police are onsite directing traffic around the area. Please be advised to expect delays if travelling in that direction and to find an alternative route where possible.
