The Department of Transport and Main Roads, in conjunction with Queensland Police Service, asks motorists to delay all non-essential travel on the Bruce Highway south of Innisfail. This is due to the closure of the Bruce Highway at Tully and between Cardwell and Ingham, due to heavy rainfall and flooding at various creeks and crossings. The department would like to thank motorists for their patience and understanding during this time.
