Cardwell Range Blasting (Bruce Hwy)- A full closure of the Bruce Highway due to blasting on the Cardwell Range will be occurring on 13 December 2011 at 2:00pm. Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes.

Due to blasting on the Cardwell range on the 19 October 2011 there will be a full closure of the range between 2:00pm and 2:30pm. Traffic will be stopped at the bottom of the range whilst blasting occurs with delays expected.

Due to a truck roll-over the Bruce Highway has been fully closed in both directions approximately 5 klms south of Cardwell. Police and emergency crews are on site. At this stage there is no estimated time the highway will be re-opened.

There is water over the road on the Bruce Highway at Seymour River north of Ingham. Motorist are advised to drive with caution when in this area.

Motorists are advised of a single vehicle incident on the Bruce Highway, between Ingham and the Cardwell Range, near the Christies Road intersection. The northbound lane is currently blocked to traffic as emergency services work to remove the vehicle. Be aware that delays are expected and please approach the area with caution.

Cardwell Range - Severe thunder storm warning for the Cardwell Range area. Motorist are advised heavy rain and flash flooding are predicted. Motorist are advised to drive with extreme caution and to delay any travel if possible.
