Traffic Incidents related to Bribie Island Road, Caboolture, QLD

Due to flooding a traffic contra flow is in place for southbound traffic on the Bruce Highway north of King John Creek Caboolture. Southbound traffic is being directed onto the northbound lanes. There is now one lane of traffic each direction in the northbound lanes of the Highway between Bribie Island Road and Pumicestone Rd. Expect long delays in both directions. Last review 9.30am

Bribie Island Road is closed at Caboolture between Old Toorbul Point Road and Hickey Rd.

There is water partly over the right lane of the Bruce Highway southbound at King John Creek, Caboolture. Please use caution travelling in this area.

Bribie Island Rd is closed at Hickey Rd approximately 2km east of the Bruce Highway) due to flooding.

There is water over the road on the Bruce Hwy under the Bribie Island Road overpass at Caboolture. Proceed with caution.

Multiple intersections in the Caboolture are out. This is due to an Energex fault. Please use caution travelling through all intersections.

There is a truck in the centre median of the Bruce Hwy south of Pumicestone Rd, no delays.

There is heavy congestion northbound on the Bruce Highway from Caboolture through to Beerburrum. Please use caution and expect medium delays.

Due to an earlier incident at Elimbah heavy congestion exists in the northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway from Caboolture through to Elimbah. Delays are being experienced motorists are advised to proceed with caution in this area.
