Due to a multiple vehicle crash on Settlement Road on the range there is a stop go in place between Yarrabee Street and Kilbowie Street. Motorists are to expect long delays in the are and seek alternative routes where possible.

There is a Multiple Vehicle crash on Samford Road eastbound at Melrick Street blocking the right lane. Motorists to avoid the area or expect long delays.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads wishes to advise that Samford Road will be closed to motorists between Arbor Street and Tramway Street from 8:00pm Friday 2nd March to 5:00am 5th March 2012 .
The closure is in place for essential resurfacing works for the rail crossings.
Traffic will be detoured via
Northbound via Tramway Street
Southbound via Arbor Street
QPS and traffic controllers will be in attendance to assist motorists. It is anticipated that the works will cause minor to moderate delays. For more information please contact 131940.
