There is a multiple vehicle crash on Samford Road at Pickering Street. There are reports that Samford road is closed in both directions. Motorists may experience delays in the area.

Signals are currently out at the intersection of Samford Road and Tramford Street. Police are currently directing traffic.

The Department of Transport and Main Roads wishes to advise that Samford Road will be closed to motorists between Arbor Street and Tramway Street from 8:00pm Friday 2nd March to 5:00am 5th March 2012 .
The closure is in place for essential resurfacing works for the rail crossings.
Traffic will be detoured via
Northbound via Tramway Street
Southbound via Arbor Street
QPS and traffic controllers will be in attendance to assist motorists. It is anticipated that the works will cause minor to moderate delays. For more information please contact 131940.

Brisbane City Council wishes to advise that Osborne Road and Blackwood Street Mitchelton will be closed to motorists from 8:00pm Friday 2nd March to 5:00am 5th March 2012.
The closure is in place for essential resurfacing works for the rail crossings.
