Bruce Highway, Kennedy - Hazard: Animal or wildlife Northbound - Large Beast close to road in northbound lane just over the Cardwell Range in the first main stretch and around the bend.
No blockage. No delays expected. Proceed with caution.

The Speed limit on the Bruce Hwy at Kennedy, has been reduced to 60km/h until approx. 7:45pm this evening being 17/5/11.

Long delays are currently being experienced northbound on the Bruce Highway, in the vicinity of Kennedy Township. Motorists are advised to allow extra time if traveling in this area.

Roadworks are occurring on the Bruce Hwy approx. 11.5km north of Cardwell near the Yellow Waterhole in Kennedy. Both lanes have been closed and Traffic Control is in place 24hrs a day to divert traffic via a side track. Some delays may be experienced. Expected completion late March 2011.
