Motorists are advised of a single vehicle incident on Charles Street. Charles Street is currently reduced to one lane and Police and Emergancy services are on route. please drive with caution when in the area.

Motorists are advised of a multiple incident on Nathan Street at the Bergin Road intersection. Police and emergency services are on site, with the vehicles currently blocking some inbound traffic. Heavy congestion has developed in all directions surrounding the intersection, with large delays expected. Please drive with caution in the area, and avoid it where possible.

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on Nathan Street at the Raynor Street intersection. As a result of this incident traffic signals at the intersection have been damaged, with some lanes currently blocked. Maintenance crews are on site restoring traffic signals, with police and emergency services directing traffic around the area. Please avoid this area where possible, as heavy congestion and delays are expected.

Motorists are advised that the traffic signals at the intersection of Nathan Street and Charles Street are currently off. A maintenance crew is currently on route and Police will be directing traffic though the intersection. Please take care if travelling in the area.

Motorists are advised of an oil spill on Ross River Road between Gulliver Street and Charlotte Street. Police and Emergency Services are onsite and clean up is in progress. Police and Traffic Control are directing motorists through the incident as the traffic signals at Gulliver, Thompson & Charlotte Street are on amber flash. Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and to expect major delays.

Motorists are advised that due to Roadworks there will be no left turn into Mango Avenue from Ross River Road and Mango Avenue itself will be closed between the hours of 9.00am and 1.00pm today the 25 February, 2010. Detours, speed reductions and traffic control will be in place during the works.

Motorists are advised that the traffic lights at the intersection of Ross River Road, Cross St and Balls lane as well as Ross River Road, Bowen Road and Charters Towers Road are currently off due to an Ergon Energy Power failure. Police are currently on site direction traffic. The lights will resume normal operation once power has been restored.
