The Centenary Highway will be closed between Garden Road and Progress Road Richlands from 8pm to 5am on Thursday, 15th of October for night works (weather permitting).
Traffic traveling south on this night will be detoured via Garden Road, while traffic traveling north will be detoured via Progress Road.
These works are to prepare for a traffic switch of all northbound traffic onto the new northbound carriageway of the Centenary Highway between Progress Road, Richlands and the Logan Motorway interchange on Sunday, 25 October 2009.
These works are being carried out as part of the Darra to Springfield Transport Corridor - Stage 1.
