There is a report of a Sheet of Corrigated Iron on the Kennedy Hwy approx. 4k heading from Mareeba to Kuranda. Motorists are advised to proceed with care.

There are horses over the road on the Kennedy Highway near the Mareeba Motor Inn, Mareeba. Drivers are advised to slow down and drive with care through this area

There is a CRASH at the intersection of the Kennedy hwy & Malone Rd. Delays maybe experienced.

Road works are in progress on the Kennedy Hwy, from Davies Creek, Koah to Malone Rd, Mareeba. Temporary speed reductions are in place throughout the road works site for the safety of motorists. Works are due to recommence in mid-August with expected completion end of August 2011.

There is a Multiple Vehicle CRASH on the Kennedy Hwy, just outsaide the Termit Fruit Shop (approx. 10km east of Mareeba). One vehicle is blocking part of the road and some delays can be expected.
