The Australia Vs England cricket match is being held at the Gabba from Thursday 25th November until Monday 29th November from 10am daily. Traffic congestion may be experienced on Stanley St, Vulture St, and Ipswich Rd from 9am on match days. Motorists on the Pacific Motorway may also experience congestion from this time at the northbound Stanley St Exit 2 and Stanley St onramp and southbound across the Captain Cook Bridge to the Vulture St Exit 2 and Stanley St onramp. Vulture Street will not be closed at any time for the event. Daily road closures will be in place as follows:
• 0830am-1030am - No right turn Main into Vulture; no right turn Vulture into Main; no left turn Main into Stanley
• 4.30pm - 7pm - Stanley Street between Wellington and Ipswich Roads;
• 5pm to 6.30pm - No right turn Main into Vulture; no left turn Main into Vulture
Motorists attending the event should also be aware of the 15 minute parking restriction that applies to the Gabba Traffic Area on match days.
