The Department of Transport and Main Roads in conjunction with the Rural Fire Brigade are planning to carry out a fuel hazard reduction burn on the north-eastern side of the Bunya Highway adjacent to Crumptons peanut facility at Crawford. The burn is planned for Wednesday 30 September starting at approximately 4 pm, subject to favourable weather conditions. The speed limit on the Bunya Highway past the burn area will be reduced to 40kmh in both directions. Your patience when travelling through the area is appreciated.
