There is a crash on the Captain Cook Highway southbound between Trinity Beach roundabout and Trinity Park roundabout. It is reported that one lane may be blocked and motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care.

Due to an Ergon Energy Fault north of Cairns the following Traffic Signals are no working; Captain Cook Hwy and Stanton Road at Smithfield and Captain Cook Hwy and Endeavour Rds Clifton Beach.

There is water over the road on the Captain Cook Highway at the Trinity Beach Roundabout and on Trinity Beach Road. The water is currently rising and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

There is diesel on the road at both the Caravonica and Smithfield roundabouts heading north. Clean up crews are on site and traffic control is in place. Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care for the safety of themselves and others.

There is a broken down bus on the Captain Cook Highway Northbound on the Reed Rd. roundabout. Motorists are advised some delays maybe expected & to drive with care on approach to the roundabout.

There is a diesel spill in the northbound inside lane on the Caravonica Roundabout, Captain Cook Highway in Smithfield. Road surface is slippery and motorists are advised to slow down and negotiate the road with caution.
