Due to an Ergon Energy Fault north of Cairns the following Traffic Signals are no working; Captain Cook Hwy and Stanton Road at Smithfield and Captain Cook Hwy and Endeavour Rds Clifton Beach.

There is diesel spill westbound on the Kennedy Highway from the Smithfield roundabout heading up the Kuranda Range. Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with extreme care.

An oil spill has been reported on the Kuranda Range road, heading downhill (eastbound) from the hairpin turn (aka the Switchback) to the bottom of the range. Motorists are asked to slow down and drive with care.

There are reports of a diesel spill on the Kuranda Range at Avondale Ck, motorists are advised to drive with care for there safety and the safety of other motorists, and minor delays maybe expected.

A semi trailer is reported to be on fire on the Kuranda Range just uphill from the Henry Ross Lookout. Motorists are advised that traffic delays may result and to proceed with caution.

New traffic signals are in operation at the intersection of the Kennedy Highway and Cumberland Avenue, Smithfield. Motorists are advised to drive with care through the intersection.

There is diesel on the road at both the Caravonica and Smithfield roundabouts heading north. Clean up crews are on site and traffic control is in place. Motorists are advised to slow down and drive with care for the safety of themselves and others.

There is a stationary semi trailer on the Kuranda Range Westbound near the Henry Ross lookout. Traffic is reduced to one lane and motorists are advised to expect delays.
