Cardwell Range - Severe thunder storm warning for the Cardwell Range area. Motorist are advised heavy rain and flash flooding are predicted. Motorist are advised to drive with extreme caution and to delay any travel if possible.

Due to blasting on the Cardwell range on the 19 October 2011 there will be a full closure of the range between 2:00pm and 2:30pm. Traffic will be stopped at the bottom of the range whilst blasting occurs with delays expected.

Due to a truck roll-over the Bruce Highway has been fully closed in both directions approximately 5 klms south of Cardwell. Police and emergency crews are on site. At this stage there is no estimated time the highway will be re-opened.

Motorists are advised of a single vehicle incident on the Bruce Highway, between Ingham and the Cardwell Range, near the Christies Road intersection. The northbound lane is currently blocked to traffic as emergency services work to remove the vehicle. Be aware that delays are expected and please approach the area with caution.

CARDWELL RANGE - Full Closure of the Cardwell Range for blasting will be occurring on Friday 24 June 2011 at 2:00pm. Motorists should expect delays for approximately 15 minutes.

Bruce Highway on the southern end of the Cardwell Range - Heavy Vehicle Roll-over. Maintenance crews are on site clearing the debris. Highway is opened to single lane escort. Motorists are advised to exercise extreme caution and patience when approaching the site.

Motorists are advised of debris on the Bruce Hwy along the Cardwell Range. The road is opened to all vehicles and there is traffic control on site. There will be a road closure later on today to remove the remaining debris from the the road.
