Roadworks - Planned roadworks
The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) are
undertaking night works for the installation of a steel truss bridge
as part of the V1 O'Keefe Street Velobridge project in midOctober 2023.
The bridge installation works will be undertaken at night,
between 7pm and 5am, from 15 October to 20 October.
Changed traffic conditions will be in place during the night works,
with O'Keefe Street closed in both directions between Carl Street
and Junction Street as well as the closure of two northbound
lanes on the Pacific Motorway. Detours will be in place for road
users travelling west on O'Keefe Street via Junction Street,
Juliette Street and Ipswich Road. O'Keefe Street will re-open to
westbound traffic at the end of each night shift, with eastbound
lanes to remain closed as part of the ongoing Brisbane Metro
project works. Please allow extra time when planning your travel
