Traffic Incidents related to Woolcock Street, Hyde Park, QLD

Motorists are advised of a multiple vehicle incident on Railway Avenue at the Brooks Street intersection. Traffic is moving slowly so delays may be expected. Police and emergency crews are on site so please drive with caution when in the area.

Motorists are advised of a single vehicle incident on Ackers Street, between Marks Street and Campbell Street. As a result of this incident traffic signals at the following intersections are off due to a loss of power;
-Charters Towers Road, Bayswater Road and Ackers Street
-Charters Towers Road and Philp Street
-Charters Towers Road, Woolcock Street and Boundary Street
-Woolcock Street and Sturt Street
Crews are working to restore power and motorists are urged to remain patient and drive with caution in the area.

Boundary Street at Victoria Park near Bells St. is presently clear but is expected to have water ponding over the road with the rising King tides peaking at 8:30 tomorrow morning. Reduce speed and exercise caution through this area. Updated 16:00 16/03/11

Motorists are advised of an incident on the intersection of Charters Towers Road and Bowen Road. A boat has fallen off the Trailer and it is blocking the middle lane in the inbound direction. Delays are to be expected. Police are on their way.

Bundock Street - Between the 9 March 2011 and 30 march 2011 between the hours of 7:00 am and 4:00 pm repair works to water mains are being carried out on the northbound lane. There will be traffic controllers and speed reductions in place for the duration of these works.

Speed restrictions and traffic controllers will be on site for the duration of these works.
